Get Ready Portland! The Stand Up Comedy Clinic is coming to your area for a one-weekend seminar. Learn joke-writing and performance techniques from one of the best comedy teachers in L.A.

What to Expect:

• Our goal is to present a warm and friendly workshop where an artist can feel free to experiment with different styles of humor.
• Please be prompt - classes start precisely at 7:00 PM.
• Remember, if you're not there when we start, you'll miss those jokes we'll be telling about you!

What to Bring:

• a Pen
• a Fresh Notebook
• a Digital or Tape Recorder to record your individual sets
• any Material you might be working on (assuming you want help developing it)
• your Sense of Humor!

I've Registered, Now What?

• Try to get some sleep and contain your excitement until your first night of class. We know it's very hard to do, but try anyway. Ah Hell, this is Comedy! Go ahead and bang your face in the mirror if you want!
• If you're still having trouble waiting for the Clinic to start, you can always watch Jerry Corley at A&E's an Evening at the Improv, (see below) introduced by his father, actor Pat Corley.
• Finally, if all else fails and that ringing in your ears is double yesterday's volume, visit Jerry's website "for a good time."
